Camera Cords & Computers

Well, we have been having some camera and computer problems (mostly shot power cords) thus the lack of pictures and lack of posts lately. I am hoping to get something figured out so I can LW, post some pictures of the new baby boy or girl who is due very soon now. :) Looking forward to that!

Fun Finds

After about 10 times or more of having my computer shut off, jam up, and the power cord not work, I was about to give up posting anything at all. But, I finally had success and so here I am. :)

I generally don't like shopping a whole lot, the only exceptions are book stores and thrift shops. :) Yesterday, I went to Value Village (thrift shop chain here in Canada) and found some good deals.

Some shirts for the little man for cooler weather, as well as a jacket.

Little dresses
I am hoping these curtain panels will go with the new quilt I am wanting to order. I am pretty sure they will and was happy to find them.
I was excited to find this push toy :) Abby, loved using one like this when she first started to walk and Willy also used a push toy when he was learning. Hoping the new little one will like it as well. :)

I also got some baskets and two pictures for the bedroom that I like. It was fun finding all these bargains:).

A Sweet Treat

It is starting to feel like fall here, and what could be a better time then to make some caramel apples? 1. Get out the creamy caramels and count out one hundred

2. Unwrap the 100 caramels. :) I wonder why they can't invent a caramel wrapping that is easy to remove, but maybe that's half the fun. 3. Melt the caramels, then get your apples and dip them (100 caramels was enough to make 12 apples).
4. Enjoy the cruchy, chewy, sweet snack:).

Thanks very much to everyone who took the time to let me know if my template was working or not. :) From the comments, it seems that it is showing up for some, but not others. I still have not figured out what the problem is, so I have decided to just go ahead and change everything which will hopefully work this time. If my blog looks a little strange for awhile it's because it's still under construction. :) Thanks again for the help!

New Template

I was wondering if you all could help me out. I changed my template several days ago, but I'm not sure if it is showing up for everyone since I've been having difficulties with it. I would very much appreciate if you could leave a quick comment letting me know what color my blog background is when you get it up. The new template is purple on the sides. If it's not working I will probably just switch my template. Thanks for the help! :) :)

~Latest Painting Project~

Hello everyone! :) Here are a few pictures of what I've been doing in my spare time the past few days. I have only used oil paints once before, and this picture has quite a bit more detail then my previous attempt so I'll have to see how it goes.

I really enjoy working with oil paint since it stays wet long enough for me to correct any mistakes that I might have made. :) Anyway, I will try to post a picture once I'm all the way finished. The picture that I'm painting from is in a library book so that will give me an incentive to get it done faster before it becomes overdue. :)
