Two of my sisters are really good watercolour painters. Inspired by them, I decited to buy my own water color set. Now, I must say that the only experence I have with watercolors was when I was a little girl painting "masterpieces" with cheap - but oh so fun- watercolour sets from the dollar store. :) I have a lot to learn, but I think it should be fun!
Ready to start experimenting with my new paints. My sister let me use her paint brush and taught me a few things too. :)
My first attempt was mostly trying to mix colors, my sister taught me how to blend complimentry colours to make warm shades of grey. As you can see from my little flower, I definitely need to practice a lot more! Lol
A page from one of my Mom's watercolor art books; I'd love to get this good! This method uses a fine tip pen to add texture to the paintings. My sister gave me one of the pens for my birthday, which I'm excited to try to use more! :) I think I will have fun with watercolours if I can squeeze in some time to paint once in awhile. :)

Looking forward to seeing more of your watercolor paintings--I'm sure you'll have fun trying them out again! :) I'm glad we got to do a little together, at least, while you were here. :)
I'm glad we got to do some together too; I just wish now I had tried harder to make a little more for it while we were there. Thanks for showing me what you did and for the pen! :)
