A Psalm for Today

I took this picture when my husband and I visited Mount Vernon. The guides there told us that this tree is original to the estate. The Potomac River is in the background.

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves: we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endureth to all generations.

Saskatchewan Winter

Here are a few pictures taken this winter here in Canada:). Most days the temperature hasn't been as low as -40 F, but it still has been quite cold. I love the snow, and I am enjoying winter very much:).

Real cold, forty below zero!
(My wonderful husband:) gets the credit for this photo).

Neat old abandoned buildings on the property

Beautiful frost covered trees

The red barn

"He giveth snow like wool: He scatterth the hoarfrost like ashes. He casteth forth His ice like morsels: who can stand before His cold?" ~Psalm 147: 16-17

The Day~The Way

A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps. Proverbs 16:9

Not for one single day, can I discern my way,
But this I surely know-Who gives the day
Will show the way, So I securely go.

Camouflage, or Random photo :)

Camouflage

This is a random photo that I took of an anole lizard a few months back. :) What is neat about these lizards is that they can change color from bright green to dark brown.
