- After my husband went on a fishing trip last June, he brought home a bunch of fresh delicious salmon fillets, among other fish. My freezer is still well stocked. Believe it or not, I'd never cooked with fresh salmon before, so onto Pinterest I did go to search for recipes. :) I found this one for Honey, Garlic, baked Salmon and gave it a try. It turned out really good! The only thing I would change next time is to cut slightly back on the honey. Hope you enjoy it too!Honey, Garlic, baked Salmon
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 pounds salmon
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil.
- In a small bowl, stir together honey, garlic, olive oil, vinegar, thyme, salt and pepper, to taste.
- Place salmon onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Spoon the honey mixture over the salmon. Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon, covering completely and sealing the packet closed.
- Place into oven and bake until cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.
- Enjoy! :)

Mmm! This looks so delicious! That must be nice to have all that frozen fish to use.
It looks delicious!! Thanks for sharing the recipe, I'd like to try it sometime. =)
Yummy! Looks very tasty! If I ever get the chance to cook with salmon fillets I'll give this a try. :)
I like your blogs new look! Is the header photo one that you took?
Hi Sister in the Mid-west, :)
Thank you, I really like the new look too! All credit goes to Amy, she designed the new header and everything. No, I didn't take the picture, it does remind me of the mountains in Alberta though. :)
The header picture is of Bow River which flows from Lake Louise near Banff in Alberta, Canada. =)
Hey that's neat Amy! Lake Louise is so beautiful! Funny I didn't realize the Bow River flowed from there. The picture really reminds me of the wagon ride Graham and I took along the river a few years ago.
You did a great job on the designing the new layout, Amy! Thanks for telling us more about the picture!
