Little bit of Happiness #1 Colour in Winter

I am excited to that two of my flowering plants are now in bloom! I keep them on the window ledge above the kitchen sink, it’s nice to see a pop of colour in contrast to the drab winter landscape outside right now. :)

This is the first time this orchid has bloomed since I first got it. Seeing it adds a bit of brightness to my day. :)

Pretty purple African violet flowers. :)

So pretty! I love orchids and African violets. I have a purple African Violet in my kitchen too, and hopefully it will bloom soon too! It's nice to see some color in winter, even if it's just a blue sky after days of cloudy and grey skies.

Your orchids and violets are beautiful! There is something so special and cheering about having flowers in the winter. I have a few African Violets in my kitchen and they are blossoming right now due to the extra light. Truly a blessing!

Those are really pretty flowers! It must be nice to have those blooming now! I was noticing today that the little indoor miniature rose bush we have here has a rose bud on it. I'm amazed the plant is even still surviving and doing as well as it is now, since it has gone through having spider mites, which almost killed it, and being knocked over and uprooted several times by the cats and kittens. :) I'm looking forward to seeing it bloom again!
