Kids+Dirt+Flower Seeds= Fun

This afternoon the kids planted (with some help) some flower seeds I bought a few days ago. :)

Aster, Mairgold, and Zinnia seeds.

Filling up their pots with potting soil. No, it didn't stay this clean, lol when you are working with dirt, things do get dirty, and this time was no exception! :)

I wrote their names on their pots. You can't see it all here, but Abby insisted she wanted to add a smiley face to each one too, so I let her. :)

While the dirt was out, I let the kids help me re-pot a neglected plant I've had sitting in the window sill for forever. I also finally planted a couple of spider plants that had been living in water for months.

This little pink watering can was too cute to pass up last time I was at the store. :)

The pots are in the sunshine, and now we wait. Looking forward to flowers later this year. :)

What a nice thing to do with the children - I love how they are working so intently and carefully. It will be exciting for them to see their plants grow!

How fun! I enjoyed seeing the pictures. It looks like they are enjoying themselves very much! =)
Asters are beautiful! I want to plant some now, and also some Corn Flowers.
