Psalm 148:12-14

Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 148:12-14

I love this Psalm. When we think of what Christ has done for us,often we may feel inadequate to properly express our praise. The psalmist here was so full of joy and admiration that he calls all nature and all men to join their voices with his to help lift up the name of the LORD. We can be sure that nature does so, and oh, what a blessing it is when we can join our voices with it. Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine when we can catch but a feeble glance of the King in his beauty. Let us say with the song writer, where the whole realm of nature mine,it where a gift far to small!

What a beautiful picture! David truly had an open heart for God. I love to read about David's life and see the Psalms he wrote when in those difficult times. Thank you for posting this Psalm!
