Photo Albums

After months of hoping and wanting to, yet never getting around to it, I've finally started on getting pictures actually put into photo albums!!  I found four nice big photo albums at a thrift store last time we went, which is great.  I also have a few empty albums given to us as a wedding present from my Grandma that I'm planning on using.  I have the last six years of pictures to go through. Out of a few thousand pictures, I've gotten about four hundred taken care of so far.  Glad that I already have most of them printed!

Just a suggestion to all those of you that are newly married: if you are planning on using physical albums, don't wait six years before you start. :)  If I can get caught up, I'm planning on trying to print pictures at least once a year from now on and get them in albums right away.

New albums

Seven more big envelopes of pictures to go!

Now I just need to get all the pictures off my iPad printed out. :)

Snowmen and Warm Days

It may not look like it from these two pictures, but last week we had two days that were just beautiful!  It was so warm I even went out and sat on the porch swing for awhile. :) On Sunday we had Graham's parents over, they brought hamburgers, which Graham barbecued on the grill, while the kids played.  It's fun when it gets warm enough that the snow melts some and we can make snowmen! :)

Matt was pretty excited about this big snowman Graham helped the kids build.

Another snowman made with Grandma the next day. :)

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Phi. 4:19

Amen, Through Christ, you can live victoriously every single day!

A Heart of Praise Dish Towels

A few days ago Graham brought home these dish towels that his Mom embroidered for me.  It was a sweet surprise, aren't they nice?! :)

Yummy Blueberry Cake

This afternoon the kids and I had fun making this yummy blueberry cake.  It turned out very good! Before I got married my family used to make it a lot, and smelling it bake today brought back a lot of memories. :)  If you'd like to make it too, please head over to my sisters blog where she has the recipe posted! :)

Your Place

Is your place a small place?
Tend it with care --
He set you there.

Is your place a large place?
Guard it with care --
He set you there.

Whate'er your place,
It is not yours alone --
But His who set you there.
