A few days ago Graham brought home these dish towels that his Mom embroidered for me. It was a sweet surprise, aren't they nice?! :)

Your Place
Is your place a small place?
Tend it with care --
He set you there.
Is your place a large place?
Guard it with care --
He set you there.
Whate'er your place,
It is not yours alone --
But His who set you there.

Quotes on Marriage
"Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it" Psalm 127:1
"The Christian marriage must be Christ-centred, not self-centred."
"How we handle our husband’s shortcomings reveals more about our own character than our husbands."
"Even if you are right, and he is wrong (and you are not right as often as you think, trust me on this) does that mean God has appointed you to correct him?"
"Nowhere in the Bible does it say that we should wait for someone else to do the right thing before we do the right thing."
"Love is by definition focused on its object. If I’m thinking about me, I am not focused on loving my man."
“Many marriages would be better if the husband and the wife clearly understood that they are on the same side.”
“There is no more lovely, friendly or charming relationship, communion or company, than a good marriage.”

God's Commandments
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. John 14:21
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:2-3
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 1 John 2:3-6
