Our 4th of July Celebration!

This year for the 4th of July, my mother-in-law (who happens to be a Canadian) :) had a celebration for her two American daughter-in-laws. :) I thought I'd share a few pictures of the things she made to make the day special. She really put a lot of thought, time and effort into it; it was super sweet of her!!

Mom painted the pot and planted these pretty flowers as a gift for me, she also made one for my sister-in-law. :)

Watching Grandma finish cooking lunch. :)

She also made these hair bows for the little girls. :)

She made very cute crayon art shirts for the four oldest little girl cousins. :)

Red, white and blue candles.

Enjoying lunch! We had yummy chicken salad, garlic bread and sweet tea. For dessert there was...

Red, white, and blue star shaped jello :)

Strawberries dipped in white chocolate with blue sprinkles, and also blueberry cheesecake. Yum!

Festive streamers. These two little cousins are best of friends! :)

We had a fun day! Happy (very late) 4th of July to my fellow Americans!!

Fun theme/colours! We didn't do anything for the 4th because we were up in Canada, maybe next year. :)

That was so sweet of her to do all of that for you all up there! It looks like she really took a lot of time to get it all ready--even making those hair ribbons and tee-shirts for the girls! The potted plants are so neat; I love how she painted the pots. :)

Love, love your strawberry gingham tablecloth. I love strawberry motifs. I have strawberries in my kitchen and sometimes in our dining room. :-)

Looks like a lovely day! :-D
