A Little House

A few weeks ago I was looking around in Value Village (a thrift shop:) when I saw this cute little doll house in the back. For $10 I thought it was a good deal, and I was happy to find it for Abigail, even if she is a little bit young yet :).

The doll house

Abigail Hope

She was more interested in chewing on everything:) then playing with it, but we had fun.

Nice wallpaper eh? :)

Actually, I think it would be a fun project (when Abigail gets old enough) to re-paper the walls and maybe replace the carpet etc.

All the furniture that came with it.

so neat! it looks quite sturdy ~ I love to see things made of wood instead of plastic. :) they'll last much better! besides, I like them better! I'm sure that was a fun 'find' for you!

Chewing on everything, huh? Sounds like a certain little someone else we know. ;) Our Jonathan and Emily's Elsie Mae would make a great friend for Abigail Hope. Wish we could get these two little ladies together sometime. Oh, what fun!

What a darling dollhouse! I love all the little furniture. Abigail is really growing. Is she sitting on her own in these pictures?

Hi Emily,
Yes,she is really growing fast, I am sure your little Elsie is as well:). Babies are so precious.

Abigail's last "milestone" was rolling over, so far she can't sit up by herself. In these pictures she was leaning back on me:).

What a lovely dolls' house and furniture! I and my sister used to love playing with our houses together!

And I second all these other people: Abigail is a cutie.
