Gingerbread

This recipe is one of my favorites! My whole family enjoys it as well. Very simple to make, and yet it turns out delicious. :)

Gingerbread

1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup milk
1/4 cup honey
1 egg
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 molasses
3/4 stick butter

Mix dry ingredients. Rub in butter until mixture resembles course crumbs. In a pan heat molasses, honey and corn syrup. Add milk, pour into dry mixture add egg. Whisk until smooth.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Mmm! I love gingerbread. Have you ever put icing on it? Even just whip cream would probably be good.
