There are an amazing variety of leaves, not only are there a lot of different shapes, (The pictures below are only a small percent of the different kinds just around our yard.) there is also different shades of green. How dull it would be if there was only one shade of green outdoors. All of God's creation is amazing! Even the "common" leaves.

I once heard that green was the most pleasing color to humans. Is that because we see it everywhere or did God put it everywhere because we enjoy it? Green is one of my favorite colors, along with pink.

Hi Emily! These pictures of leaves are really pretty - I like the one of the fern a whole lot. I need to take more pictures, surprisingly didn't take many (if any) on vacation. Well, it was VACATION but still, for the memories' sake. I have to get better at that. Anyhow, thanks for posting this, it's really neat. ~ Ruth Ann
