The Weaver

My life is but a weaving,
Between my Lord and me,
I cannot choose the colors,
He worketh steadily.
Oft times He weaveth sorrow
And I in foolish pride,
Forget He sees the upper
And I the underside.

Not till the loom is silent,
And the shuttles cease to fly
Shall God unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why.
The dark threads are as needful
In the Weavers skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.

I don't know why you can't comment on the Thursdays Recipe but those rolls are absolutely delicious! Everyone ought to try them!

Hello Joy,
I'm not sure what happened, but when I posted the recipe, for some reason the comment link was not working. Anyway..Glad you liked the rolls! Thanks for the comment!

The recipe does look delicious. Have you ever made it with whole wheat or part whole wheat? I'll be trying it that way. I made ww crescent rolls for our dinner today. I don't make them very often, so when I do, the family considers them a delicacy to be savored!

Hello Mrs. Hart,
I don't think that I've ever used wheat flour in this recipe. (I usually just use unbleached white flour.) But they would probably be good with whole wheat flour as well. We were out of white flour the other day when I was making cream cinnamon rolls(I may post that recipe sometime.)so I had to use whole wheat flour instead, to my surprise they turned out wonderful. :) I know that whole wheat flour is a lot better for you too. :) Thank you for the comment, And I hope your family likes the rolls! :)
